Lecturer in Economics 

Adam Smith Business School/Economics is seeking to fill several positions at the lecturer level (equivalent to Assistant Professor). We welcome applications from any field with preference in Financial Economics or Applied Economics/Econometrics. These posts will be complemented by a senior professorial appointment of a global expert via the prestigious Cairncross Chair in Applied Economics and another chair appointment in Finance or Financial Economics. These appointments will play a key role in boosting applied economics, which is a strategic priority of the University of Glasgow. Applicants should be able to demonstrate an existing record or potential for publications in top-rated journals and contribute to learning and student experience at the undergraduate and master’s levels. Applicants should have completed, or be close to completing, a PhD in Economics or related discipline by the post start date (1st September 2019).
