Job Summary

 

The Department of Economics in the College of Arts and Sciences and the Division of Continuing Education at the University of Colorado-Boulder invites applications for the position of Instructor of Economics with a focus of the Division’s Economics course offerings. The initial appointment will be up to three years with a renewable term. The Department and Continuing Education have a history of welcoming and valuing long-term instructors.

 This is a full-time position that will consist of two areas of responsibility. One will be teaching six courses per year. Significant and successful experience developing and teaching online courses is required.

 

 The other area of responsibility will be the training, mentoring and supervising graduate students who will teach online classes during the summer semester.

 

 The appointment will begin in August, 2019. Applicants must have a PhD in Economics or a comparable field by the time of the appointment. 

 

 The salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
