The Finance Group participates in the Bachelor programme in Economics and Business, the MBA programme, and runs the Master in Finance and the executive Master in International Finance programmes.

Job qualifications

Excellent candidates from all major finance areas are welcome. We are looking for individuals with potential for exceptional teaching performance and broad interests in financial economics. Among the requirements for this post are a Finance PhD degree (or near completion) and considerable teaching experience.

Almost all teaching in the department is in English. Lecturers are required to follow the Learning and Teaching in Higher Education Programme (LTHEP, in Dutch referred to as BKO), a system adopted by all Dutch universities.

The main tasks of the candidates are teaching, thesis supervision and teaching coordination in the (under)graduate, master and executive education programs.

Applicants should send a cover letter, a CV, teaching statement, teaching evaluations, and the names of two referees (or two reference letters). The closing date for applications is December 1, 2019. Applications received after that date will not be accepted.

We will conduct interviews at the European Job Market for Economists 2019 on Thursday December 19, 2019 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
