The Management Sciences Department of the Fisher College of Business invites applicants for a post-doctoral position to begin January 1, 2020. A doctoral degree in data analytics, economics, operations, supply chain, or related business fields is required.
Applicants should have research interests in the broad domains of operations/supply chain, business analytics, and economics. Expertise or interest in regulatory science would strengthen the application. This position is funded via a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) grant that seeks to improve pharmaceutical product quality and firm learning. The individual will be expected to conduct rigorous econometrics using secondary data from public and proprietary FDA sources. Experience with regulatory science will strengthen the application.
The position is funded from January 1, 2020 until September 30, 2021. Doctoral degree must be completed by the start date. While the ideal start date is January 1, 2020, applicants that are completing their degree in the spring of 2020 who are not available to start until Spring/Summer 2020 will also be considered.
