The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Vilnius University invites applications for a

Postdoctoral Researcher in Economics

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, a leading institution in economic research in the Baltic region, is looking for a promising young researcher in all areas of economics and finance. The successful candidate will join the faculty’s Center for Economic Research, which comprises two research groups: faculty’s leading researchers in economics and finance and members of the Center of Excellence in Economics and Finance (CEFER), a joined cooperation by the Bank of Lithuania and Vilnius University.

About the position:

·         The term of appointment is two years, but can be extended to three years.

·         The gross salary ranges, depending on prior work experience, between 30,000 EUR and 40,000 EUR annually.

·         The position does not include teaching obligations. Teaching is optional and subject to additional remuneration.

Requirements:

·         A Ph.D. in economics, finance or related fields (or near completion)

·         A promising job-market paper and additional research projects/papers/ideas
