NHH in Bergen, Norway, invites applicants for two 7-year tenure-track Assistant Professor/Associate Professor positions in Macroeconomics at the Department of Economics.
We are looking for excellent economists with research interests in Macroeconomics (broadly defined). Applications from candidates in related fields are welcome.
Applicants should have expected completion dates of their PhD no later than the date of commencement. In the assessment of applicants, international experience and qualifications will be emphasised. In the event of equivalent qualifications, female applicants will be given the preference.
The Department has high ambitions in terms of research in our main research areas, which in addition to Macroeconomics are: Behavioural Economics, Industrial Organisation, Development Economics, International Economics, Labour Economics, Applied Microeconomics and Resource Economics.
The new hires will be encouraged to develop individual research agendas, interact with one or several of the existing research groups, and contribute to the department's long-term academic development. The positions will involve a competitive teaching load, which also includes graduate supervision and administrative duties.
The positions are based in Bergen, but research travel will be encouraged and there are also opportunities for research stays at collaborating institutions.

· A starting pay of NOK 639 800 – 678 600 (Assistant Professor) or NOK 678 600 – 722 800 (Associate Professor), depending on level of competence/length of service
