The Institute of Economics at Corvinus University of Budapest invites applications for two postdoc positions for two years. The starting date is fall 2020, but some flexibility is possible. Different schemes for tenure track can be offered after two years in case of mutual satisfaction.
Corvinus is the leading university in the field of economics in Hungary and is centrally located at the heart of Europe. The University maintains an excellent position as a center for research and teaching and attracts an international group of students and faculty. The successful candidate is a young researcher holding (or being close to completing) a PhD in Economics from an internationally recognized university. (S)he will conduct independent research while concurrently contributing to the ongoing research activities. Applications from all fields of economics are welcome. Researchers with experience in game theory, empirical IO, applied microeconomics, financial economics and behavioral or empirical macroeconomics are particularly encouraged to apply. We explicitly encourage international applications.
We offer favourable conditions regarding research facilities, data access, time devoted to research, travel support, etc. Employees receive social security benefits and health insurance. Salary range approximately from € 1900 to € 2600 gross per month based on a full-time position.
