The School of Economics at the University of Surrey invites applications for a post-doc researcher (also known as a Research Fellow in the British system) in Economics. The appointee will work on an ESRC-funded project on the application of machine learning techniques in international trade research. Essential requirements for the position are a good knowledge of panel data econometrics (in particular, the estimation of models with high-dimensional fixed effects), as well as experience in coding in R, Matlab or Stata.
