The Department of Economics, School of Social Sciences and Philosophy, is seeking to appoint 1 Assistant Professor in Economics to commence on 1st August 2021.
We invite applications from candidates with expertise in applied social data analysis, big data, and quantitative methods.
Successful applicants will contribute to research and teaching in the Department of Economics. The existing research strengths of the Department include development economics, international macroeconomics, and applied economics more generally (in particular, economic history, energy economics, political economy, and urban economics).
The Department is seeking applicants with vision and enthusiasm, a genuine commitment to the vital roles of research and teaching, with an established record of research and clear potential for future research accomplishment, and flair for innovation in module design and teaching methods.
