The University of Duisburg-Essen at the Campus Duisburg in the Mercator School of Management, chair Microeconomics and International Economics is currently looking for a

post-doctoral researcher (german pay grade E 13 TV-L).

Main tasks: Contributions to research projects of the institute, in particular the DFG funded project Timing Games: Theory and Applications, as well as own research agenda.

Your profile: The position is open for applicants who have completed or are close to completing Ph.D. / Promotion in Economics. We are looking for applicants with research interests in one of the following fields: economic theory, political economy, industrial organization, experimental economics. We expect very good knowledge of theoretical or experimental methods in economics as well as fluency in English.

Starting Date: April 1, 2021 or at the earliest possible date thereafter

Period of contract: 36 Months

Working hours: 100% of a full time position
