The Department of Finance offers one postdoctoral position under the supervision of Aalto Distinguished Professor Matti Keloharju. The position is funded by the Academy of Finland project Data-Driven Society, and its goal is to create cutting edge research using large administrative datasets. The subprojects belonging to this project span health and labor economics and finance.

The contract can start as early as May 2021 and can last until August 31, 2023. The contract may be extended subject to performance and availability of additional funding. The position may involve light teaching or other duties at the department.

To be considered for the position, candidates are expected to show evidence of strong research potential and expertise in advanced analytics on large datasets. They must also have obtained a PhD by the start of the position.
