The University of Duisburg-Essen invites applications for a
postdoctoral research position (m/f/d), pay grade E13 TV-L
at the Chair for New Economic Geography and East Asia, which is affiliated with the Mercator School of Management (MSM) and the Institute of East Asian Studies (IN-EAST).
The Mercator School of Management, in partnership with the Institute of East Asian Studies, are offering a full-time postdoctoral research position for candidates who already hold or are close to completing a PhD in the fields of international trade or urban/regional economics. The fixed-term position is limited to 3 years (with the option of an extension) and is intended to offer early career researchers the opportunity to develop their research portfolio within an excellent research environment prior to entering the academic job market for tenure-track positions at major research universities.
