UCLA ANDERSON SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT

UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA – LOS ANGELES

ANNOUNCEMENT OF LADDER FACULTY POSITION IN HEALTHCARE AND BUSINESS

(ALL RANKS CONSIDERED)

The UCLA Anderson School of Management is seeking to fill a tenure-track position starting in the 2022-2023 academic year for an outstanding researcher (from any disciplinary background) at the intersection of health care and business. Example areas of research interest include innovation in health care, health care industry competition, health care operations and organization, strategy of health care companies, entrepreneurship in health care, health care analytics, health care marketing, and behavioral science related to health care. The focus of our search is at the associate to full professor level; however, applications at the advanced assistant professor level will also be considered. In evaluating candidates, the search committee seeks evidence of outstanding research and mentorship of junior faculty. In addition to being outstanding researchers, candidates should have interest and ability in building programs connecting Anderson’s health care efforts to other relevant departments at UCLA (e.g., the Schools of Medicine and Public Health), building relationships with health care employers in Los Angeles and California, and engaging with students interested in health care via world-class teaching and programs. We welcome candidates whose experience in teaching, research, and community service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and excellence. Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) by June 2022.

Please apply at https://apptrkr.com/2513345

All applications must include an electronic copy of their curriculum vitae and a Statement of Contribution to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. A sample research paper may also be included in your application. Files can be uploaded in PDF or word document format.

The search committee will review applicants based upon their quality of research and breadth of teaching experience as well as their demonstrated or likely commitment to diversity related research, teaching and service.
