The Department of Economics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business invites applications for three positions in the following fields:

Macroeconomics, one postion (ID 1179)

Labor Economics, one position (ID 1179)

Microeconomics and Digitalization, one position (ID 1179)

All positions are 100% (40 hours/week) non-tenure track Assistant Professor positions (post-doc, employee subject to the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement for University Staff - Angestellte/r gemäß Kollektivvertrag für die Arbeitnehmer/innen der Universitäten). The positions will be limited to a period of six years. The gross monthly salary, paid 14 times per year is Euro €3.945,90, subject to adjustment if candidates can document relevant prior professional experience.

The Department of Economics offers an active and internationally oriented research environment. The successful candidates’ research focus should be on one of the above mentioned fields (i.e. "Macroeconomics", "Labor Economics" or "Microeconomics and Digitalization"). You will join the faculty of the Department of Economics and are expected to provide a good fit to its current research environment, as well as to cultivate excellence and contribute to the research, teaching, and service activities in the department.
