The Department of Finance at Aalto University School of Business is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Finance. This position is a part of a research project supervised by Associate Professors Petri Jylhä and Peter Nyberg and is fully funded by the Finnish Foundation for the Advancement of Securities Markets.
The ideal candidate will:
The postdoctoral researcher’s primary responsibility is to conduct research in finance, especially in asset pricing. They will be expected to make contributions to the project’s overall research agenda. A key aim of the position is also to help the candidate develop and improve their independent research profile, and it should serve as a stepping stone to a future position as Assistant Professor, or equivalent, at an international research institution. The position may also involve light teaching or other duties at the department.
The fixed-term position is for two years with target starting date in August 2022.
