CEMFI is inviting applications for one or two one-year Postdoctoral Research positions. We welcome applications in any field. The positions are funded by CEMFI's “Maria de Maeztu Unit of Excellence” award.
CEMFI is one of the leading Graduate Schools in Europe. We offer highly selective Master and PhD programs in Economics and Finance. All teaching is done in English. Our faculty conducts research subject to the highest international standards.
Successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the research environment at CEMFI and to participate in our academic activities, as well as to further their own research agenda. They will have no teaching obligations. Candidates should have a PhD in Economics or related fields by the time of appointment. Knowledge of Spanish is not required. Ideal candidates will have secured an Assistant Professorship or equivalent position at another academic institution where they can postpone the starting date until the end of the postdoctoral appointment at CEMFI.
