RAND's Economics, Sociology, and Statistics Department has multiple openings for applied microeconomists at all experience levels. RAND economists develop policy-relevant research agendas within or across education, labor, defense, public and health economics. Applicants should have a PhD by September 2023, demonstrated research skills, a strong interest in policy-relevant empirical analysis, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
