The Vienna Center for Experimental Economics (VCEE, vcee.univie.ac.at) at the University of Vienna invites applications for a position of
Senior Scientist in Experimental Economics and Laboratory Manager (ID No. 13526).
Apart from research, the position involves managing the operations of the VCEE and its laboratory together with a second laboratory manager. Responsibilities include: coordinating with researchers who want to run experiments in the laboratory, helping schedule experiments, managing a team of laboratory assistants, taking care of the laboratory hardware and software in cooperation with the IT service of the University, and monitoring the VCEE finances.
The position comes without teaching obligations.
Applicants should have completed (or should be close to completing) a PhD in economics. Knowledge of German is an asset, but is not required.
