The School of Economics at the University of Bristol is seeking to fill several academic posts with outstanding scholars to expand the school’s academic profile in all fields.
We are looking to appoint scholars at lectureship level (assistant professors) who will contribute to our strong economics research profile, and who will show a commitment to excellence in teaching and to contributing to the research culture in the School and beyond.
The salary will be competitive and the University currently operates a Recruitment and Retention (i.e. market supplement) policy.
The successful candidate will be engaged in research, teaching, and administration.
The post holder should have a strong research background with evidence of an ability to publish in the very top international economic journals, and an aptitude to teach with expertise and excellence at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. You should have completed, or be close to completing, a PhD in Economics or a related discipline by the post start date (September 2024).
