The Chairs of Public Economics (Prof. Guido Schwerdt) and Political Economy (Prof. Sebastian Findeisen) at the University of Konstanz invite applications for a postdoctoral position in labor / education economics. The position is to be filled as of October 1, 2024 for three years with the potential of a further three-year extension. Salary is based on the salary group 13 TV-L (100 %).
We welcome applications from candidates who show an excellent research potential and exhibit international experience. Applicants should have a strong background in applied microeconomics.
Candidates should have a PhD degree in Economics before taking up the position. Applicants are expected to conduct research in the field of applied empirical microeconomics with a focus on economics of education and/or labor economics and to contribute to the research activities of the Department of Economics, in particular to the research group in Empirical Microeconomics. Teaching responsibilities are 4 hours per week.
