The Einaudi Institute for Economics and Finance (EIEF) invites applications for 2 tenure-track positions as Assistant Professor, starting in the summer of 2027. EIEF is an independent research foundation which produces academic research of the highest quality standards, with emphasis on policy-relevant topics. EIEF also offers courses at graduate level and runs high-quality conferences. It provides a pleasant and stimulating research environment, a top-notch visiting program, excellent facilities and premises located in the centre of Rome.

The positions offer a competitive compensation package plus a research budget. Successful candidates are expected to publish their research in top peer-reviewed journals, teach graduate students (with a light teaching load) and contribute to the intellectual environment of EIEF. Applicants should have high research potential and have earned a Ph.D. degree in Economics or Finance or be close to completion. Applications in all fields are welcome. Bocconi University invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Economics, starting in Fall 2027.

Key information:

• This call is open to applicants whose Ph.D. in Economics, Finance, or a related field was officially conferred before September 1, 2023.

• Applications are welcome from candidates working in any field of Economics.

• The appointment is for a six-year tenure-track contract. Candidates may be considered for promotion to a tenured position at any time before the end of the contract, subject to successful evaluation.

• Compensation and teaching responsibilities are competitive with those offered by other leading European institutions, with a minimum gross annual salary of 100,000 euros. The final remuneration package will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications and overall professional profile, in accordance with the University's principles of equity, transparency and non-discrimination governing its compensation policies.

• Candidates should demonstrate a strong record of, or clear potential for excellence in research and teaching.
