The Faculty of Economic Sciences in Moscow and Department of Economics in St. Petersburg* invite applications for tenure-track assistant professor positions (both entry and advanced levels) as well as senior positions with tenure. There are multiple job openings, and candidates from all fields of Economics will be considered. The positions are open to all nationalities, and the knowledge of Russian is not required as all academic activities, including teaching, are conducted in English.

Requirements:

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in economics, finance, financial economics or a related field, and be in receipt of it prior to the starting date of the contract. The successful candidate is expected to produce high-quality research publishable in reputable peer-reviewed journals. Senior candidates must demonstrate evidence of excellence in research and teaching. All qualified candidates are urged to apply.

Benefits:

The salary is internationally competitive, indexed to inflation annually, and subject to a 13% flat income tax. The university offers health insurance (free of charge) and language assistance; travel support and other research assistance are generous. With heavy emphasis placed on high quality research, the teaching load of newly hired faculty is relatively low and service is minimal.
