Assistant Professor in Economics or in Finance

The Department of Economics at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, will recruit one Assistant Professor either in Economics or in Finance. This is a six-year tenure track position with a mid-term review after three years. The expected start date is August 2024.

Applicants should hold, or be close to completing, a Ph.D. in Economics or in Finance. Research potential will be the key selection criterion and the successful candidate is expected to carry out research suitable for publication in highly ranked economics or finance journals. We will consider applied researchers working in any area of Economics or Finance. The teaching load is minimal; English is the primary teaching language.
