CEMFI is inviting applications for one or two two-year Postdoctoral Research positions. We welcome applications in the fields of Political Economy or Applied Economics. The positions are funded by the European Research Council Consolidator Grant POLTRUSTLAB, whose PI is Professor Monica Martinez-Bravo.
Successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the research environment at CEMFI, as well as to further their own research agenda. They will also be expected to participate as researchers in the POLTRUSTLAB project. This project aims to uncover the determinants of political discontent through online surveys using experimental and quasi-experimental methodologies. Researchers will be involved in all aspects of the research process. They will have no teaching obligations. Candidates should have a PhD in Economics or related fields by the time of appointment.
CEMFI recognizes the positive value of diversity and particularly encourages applications from women and candidates with underrepresented demographics regarding disability, gender identity, race, religion, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, or other characteristics.
