About the position:
The Institute of Operations and Decision Sciences is looking for an Assistant/Associate professor for a 3-year definite period (with a possibility for an extension).
The starting date is the Autumn semester of 2024, but some flexibility is possible. Different tenure track schemes can be offered in case of mutual satisfaction.

We are looking for research excellence in Operations Research and Management Science. The ideal candidate is interested in both theory and application and is open to cooperating with colleagues dealing with business and/or social problems.
Candidates with strong orientations towards Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Supply Networks, Logistics, or Empirical Works are encouraged to apply.
Our community appreciates interdisciplinary work. The successful candidate will conduct independent research while concurrently contributing to the ongoing research activities and will deliver lectures and courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Knowledge of the Hungarian language is not required.
Application criteria:
The successful candidate holds (or is close to completing) a Ph.D. in Economics / Business and Management / Management Science / Operations Research or related fields from an internationally recognised university.
