About the Position

The Department of Economics invites applicants for two Clinical Assistant/Clinical Associate Professor positions. The individual hired will assume an 18 credit hour per year teaching responsibility (the equivalent of 3 undergraduate courses per semester).

For the first position, the successful candidate will also serve as the Assistant/Associate Director of the Economics Department's Graduate Programs. The Graduate Program Assistant / Associate Director will work closely with Director of the Department’s online Master’s Program, the Director of the Department’s Doctoral Program, and the Department Head to support and grow the Department’s graduate programs. Teaching responsibilities for this position may involve some courses for the Department’s online Master’s Program in addition to offerings at the undergraduate level.

For the second position, the successful candidate will also serve as the Director of Student Experience and Business Partnerships for the Economics Department. The Director of Student Experience and Business Partnerships will work closely with the Director of the Department’s Undergraduate Programs and the Department Head to continually develop and implement improvements in student experience and business relationships. Teaching responsibilities for this position may involve some courses for the Department’s online Master’s Program in addition to offerings at the undergraduate level.

Requirements and Application Instructions

Positions require a Ph.D. in economics or closely related field. Each position is a full-time, academic–year appointment. A background check is required. Both positions will begin August 2024.
