One postdoctoral fellowship in economics/finance in the AI & The Digital Economy Lab led by Dr. Roxana Mihet is being offered through HEC Lausanne and the Sandoz Foundation –Programme Monique de Meuron. The Fellow will be part of the first research taskforce on the economics of artificial intelligence and big data in French-speaking Switzerland. The Fellow will be actively involved in all aspects of developing, executing, and completing top quality research projects with the aim of publication in top finance and/or economics journals. Projects will be shaped based on shared interests.

The fellowships will last for two years. Fellows will engage in a vibrant, interdisciplinary community focused on human-centered artificial intelligence, including by participating in HEC Lausanne/EPFL seminars, conferences, and other workshops.

Required qualifications:
• PhD between 08/2018-07/2024 with quantitative training and research experience in economics, finance, information systems, strategy, computer science/physics
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Interest in the economics of AI and big data
