As part of the Helsinki GSE initiative, the Departmnet of Economics at Aalto University Schoolof Business invites applicants to apply for a postdoctoral position in the economics of information.

The position is in the Department of Economics of Aalto University, the leading research-oriented economics unit in Finland. The position is funded by a Horizon Europe ERC Starting Grant for the project "Modeling Misspecification", led by Professor Daniel Hauser. The project develops new techniques for modeling infromation and learning in microeconomics, and has both theoretical and empirical arms. A successful candidate could have a background in microeconomic theory or a background in experimental or survery-based research, but candidates with broad interests are encouraged to apply. The candidate will be encourage to spend time developing their own research agenda and working on independent projects.

The selected candidate will work as a part of the Helsinki Graduate School of Economics (GSE) research community. They will be expected to participate in seminars and other research activities and work with graduate students.

The position is filled for two years, starting in 2025.
