The Department of Economics at Brown University invites applications for a two-year Postdoctoral Research Associate position funded through the Orlando Bravo Center for Economic Research. We welcome applications in all fields of economics, with preference given to candidates whose research interests best complement those of our department.
The postdoctoral research associate will be able to conduct their research in the vibrant academic environment of our department with no teaching obligation. They will receive an annual salary of $85,000 for this benefits-eligible position.
The selection process is highly competitive. Applicants must have received their Ph.D. since January 1, 2024 or are expected to receive it before July 1, 2026. Candidates must have demonstrated their capacity at creating innovative research at the forefront of a prominent field in economics.
