 Assistant, Associate or Full Professorship in Behavioral Economics

 

The Department of Economics of the University of Zurich is seeking to fill a position at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor, starting September 2019. Applicants should have a PhD degree in Economics before taking up the position. Successful candidates for Assistant Professorships are appointed to three-year contracts, renewable once, with evaluation for tenure after six years. Applicants at the rank of Associate or Full Professor should have an established academic record commensurate with the position.

The research focus of the position lies in the broad area of behavioral economics, including theoretical and empirical research, with an emphasis on understanding financial decision making or the functioning of financial markets. The new professor will have the opportunity of being affiliated with the UBS International Center of Economics in Society.

 

The Department of Economics offers an exciting research environment, competitive terms and conditions, and generous research support. Knowledge of German is not a requirement.
