The School of Economics at the University of Edinburgh invites applications for a position of Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor) in Economics in any field.

We are looking for candidates with strong research potential and a commitment to high-quality teaching. Candidates must hold, or be close to completing, a PhD in Economics or a related discipline, and must be able to demonstrate an existing track record of, or potential for, publications in leading peer-reviewed journals in economics. We are particularly looking for candidates with research interests that complement and/or widen the research expertise of current academic staff. We are further looking for potential to contribute to knowledge exchange and to secure research income.

Preliminary meetings will be held at the EEA meetings in Naples and at the ASSA/AEA meetings in Atlanta. Applicants should indicate their availability for these meetings in their application.
