The University of Sussex is seeking to make at least one appointment at the permanent Lectureship level in the Department of Economics.  Over the past five years the Department has expanded as a result of a strategic programme of recruitment aimed at intensifying the quality and depth of our established strengths. 

 

Candidates should demonstrate potential to conduct leading edge research in economics.  They should have a doctorate, or equivalent, in economics. In addition to being highly research active, the successful candidates will be able to teach and assess both undergraduate and graduate students, supervise doctoral students, and contribute to departmental and university administration.

 

We are seeking expertise across all areas of Economics and Econometrics, although applications in Economic Theory and/or Experimental Economics are particularly welcome.
