The Department of Economics at The Pennsylvania State University seeks to fill several untenured, tenure-track junior positions. We will consider highly qualified candidates in all fields of economics. Candidates must have a Ph.D. (or be in the final stages), demonstrate an interest in and a strong research potential for conducting high-quality scholarly research, and have a high level of teaching competence. Duties include teaching, service, and research that aligns with the candidate’s field of study in Economics. We expect faculty members to pursue an active research program, perform undergraduate teaching, help to supervise graduate students, and engage in professional service. In addition, successful candidates must have demonstrated a commitment to building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community.
