The Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) invites candidates to apply for faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate and Full Professor level in the Department of Finance. All fields within finance will be considered.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants for a position as Assistant Professor should have obtained or be close to completing a PhD in finance or a related discipline and should show strong research potential. For senior positions, a strong publication track record is expected.
ABOUT NHH AND THE DEPARTMENT: NHH is a leading European business school located in Bergen with a strong research tradition. It is the top school for business students in Norway and has a unique relationship with the Norwegian business and financial community. The school has about 170 full-time faculty members and 3,500 students. The finance department has 17 faculty members, of which two-thirds are international. The group is strongly dedicated to research and publishes regularly in the top journals. The department offers courses at the master and PhD levels, all taught in English. The teaching load is very competitive. Qualified candidates are eligible for top-up salary and research grants through the Norwegian Finance Initiative (NFI).
