The Department of Economics at the University of Exeter Business School is seeking to fill multiple posts at the levels of Lecturer (Assistant Professor) and Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor with tenure). This hiring follows two years of successful recruiting and forms part of a continued expansion and investment into Economics at the University of Exeter.

Preference will be given to researchers in applied economics with strong empirical skills. We are particularly interested in candidates specialising in *any* of the following fields: Applied Econometrics, Applied Macroeconomics, Applied Microeconomic Theory, Behavioural Economics, Development Economics, Environmental Economics, Economics of Households and Organizations, Health Economics, Human Capital and Labour Economics, Policy Evaluation, Welfare Economics, along with related areas. 

Methodologically, we welcome econometric, reduced-form, calibration, semi-structural or fully structural applied approaches as well as advanced programming skills using data that is experimental, quasi-experimental, observational (including administrative and spatial / GIS) or considered “big data” (including satellite/climate data, network and social media data).

Candidates should have a Ph.D. already in hand or firmly expected by August 2020 and should show evidence or promise of significant scholarship, high quality publications, teaching capacity, and ability to attract research grants.
