The Department of Economics at the University of Warwick has a number of vacancies for Assistant Professors.  We invite applications from strong candidates in any field of Economics.  Your research profile and trajectory should be outstanding and translate into producing publications of international quality to further enhance the profile of the Department.

Successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate students, engage in research and perform other faculty duties as required by the Head of Department.  Candidates should have a PhD or be close to completion.

Base salary is competitive with peer institutions and starts at £41,526-£49,553 per annum, there is a significant market supplement of between 30-40% of the salary scale.  Additional benefits include a good pension scheme, relocation package, a generous research allowance and excellent academic leave.

Warwick will be interviewing at the EEA in Rotterdam (18-19 December 2019) and at the ASSA Meeting in San Diego (3-5 January 2020). Our recruitment team have booked an interview space at the ERASMUS University campus in Rotterdam and a conference room at the Hilton Gas Lamp Quarter, San Diego, where all interviews will be conducted.  Please indicate in your application at which meeting you will be available for interview.
