ESADE Business School is seeking to appoint two faculty members at the rank of (tenure-track) Assistant Professor. Depending on qualifications, appointments at the rank of Associate Professor may be considered.
Candidates will be interviewed at the Job Market and may subsequently be invited to give a job talk at ESADE. The application should specify whether you are planning to attend the European Job Market (Rotterdam, December 16-19, 2019) and/or the American Job Market (ASSA, San Diego, January 3-5, 2019).
The candidate should have a Ph.D. in Economics or Finance (depending on the position) and possess outstanding research and teaching qualifications. All fields are considered. The candidate is expected to complement and contribute to the Department’s research activities, show clear evidence of high-quality research, and/or a demonstrable potential and motivation to publish in leading academic journals in Economics.
Excellent teaching skills are expected. The candidate will be in charge of mandatory and elective courses in his/her field, in any of our programs (BBA, Master of Science, MBA and Executive Education programs). ESADE is a member of Ramon Llull University and runs a wide range of courses in Business Administration and Law at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and has co-operation agreements with many top universities around the globe.
Faculty in the Group for Research in Economics and Finance (GREF) at ESADE conduct high quality research in a variety of fields such as corporate finance, asset pricing, banking, accounting, macroeconomics, international economics or behavioral economics/finance. Compensation and research support are competitive. Additional assistance will be given towards the cost of relocation. Speaking Spanish or Catalan is not a requirement, though support in learning languages is available.
