The Finance section at Stockholm Business School, Stockholm University, invites applications for the position as Assistant Professor in Finance. This is a full-time research-intensive position with a low teaching load (no more than 30% teaching). There is no teaching required in the first academic year. The position is initially for a three-year term, with the possibility of an extension for another three years. The position commences on August 15, 2021.

 

Qualifications: Applicants should (no later than August 2021) have completed a PhD in Finance or a related discipline. Furthermore, successful applicants should have published articles in refereed journals relevant to the Finance area, or demonstrate potential for high quality publications in the near future. Candidates from all areas of Finance are invited to apply. 

 

Application procedure: The application should include a cover letter, a CV, a job market paper, and three letters of recommendation. For full consideration, please apply by November 12, 2020. Interviews will be conducted online on a rolling basis and at the EEA meetings in December. Applications will continue to be accepted through January 31, 2021.
