The Swedish Institute for Social Research (SOFI) at Stockholm University seeks to fill 2 assistant professor positions in labor economics. Appointments will be effective August 1, 2021.

About the Institute

SOFI was established in 1972 as an independent research institute within Stockholm University. The institute employs economists, quantitative sociologists and scholars in labor law. About 90 researchers and administrative staff are currently employed by the institute, out of which approximately 30 work in the labor economics group (AME). Our research covers labor economics in a very broad sense. For more details see http://www.sofi.su.se.

About the Position

The position is strongly research-oriented but may involve limited teaching, supervision and administration. The position has a duration of up to 6 years (3+3) but is not a tenure-track position. Compensation is competitive and mainly in the form of a stipend.

Job Qualifications

Applicants are expected to have completed a Ph.D. in Economics (or related field) by September 1st 2021.
