The Department of Economics of Università Bocconi, Milan, Italy (www.unibocconi.eu), is seeking to fill 2 tenure track-positions at the junior faculty level in ANY FIELD of Economics. The appointment will start in September 2021.

Candidates will be interviewed online during the virtual European Job Market organized by the EEA on December 14-18, 2020, and may subsequently be invited to give a job talk at Bocconi.

Contracts will run for up to eight years (with one paid sabbatical year and subject to renewal after the first three years). There is the possibility of promotion to a tenured position by the end of that period or before.

Knowledge of Italian is not required. Responsibilities include teaching and, most importantly, productivity in research. Applicants should have - or be close to completing - a Ph.D. and will have demonstrated strong potential in research and teaching. Applications from candidates already holding junior positions of Assistant Professors are also invited.

Compensation and teaching load will be competitive with other top European academic institutions.

Bocconi University is committed to increasing the diversity of its faculty. Applications are particularly welcome from women and members of groups who are under-represented in academic posts.

Application must be submitted online at: www.unibocconi.eu/jobmarket

Candidates must send their application by November 15, 2020 through the online form at www.unibocconi.eu/jobmarket.
