The Department if Econoimcs at the Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU) invites applications for an assistant professorship (non tenure track, 6 years).
Profile:
- The successful candidate must hold a Doctorate/Ph.D. in Economics.
- He/she should have research experience in public economics, behavioral economics, or labor economics.
- Candidates should have a solid understanding of micro-econometrics, experimental methods, or micro theory.
- We expect strong command of English (C1). German skills are desired.
- We welcome international experience.
Duties:
- The candidate is expected to successfully represent his/her area of expertise in research and teaching.
- The teaching requirement amounts to four credit hours and includes theses supervision.
Offer:
- On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 3.889,50 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1).
