The ZEW is looking to fill the following position in the Research Department Environmental and Resource Economics, Environmental Management
Tenure-Track Postdoctoral Researcher (100 %, f/m/d):
The successful applicant will conduct and manage scientific research projects and challenging economic policy advising projects. During the first two years of the appointment, the researcher will focus on a federally funded research project analyzing the impacts of and design options for climate and energy policy measures, in particular carbon pricing, in Germany and the European Union.
We are looking for candidates with an excellent PhD in environmental or energy economics or a related field. Very good quantitative and mathematical skills, interest in economic modeling, very good writing skills, and fluency in English are required. We expect the successful applicant to have experience in conducting theoretical and empirical analyses in the fields of environmental/energy/resource economics or public economics. Experience in numerical economic modelling is an asset. Knowledge of German is desirable but not essential. The position does not involve any teaching responsibilities.
