Uppsala University is a comprehensive research-intensive university with a strong international standing, and it hosts a broad and leading research environment in empirical labor and urban economics. Uppsala Immigration Lab and Urban Lab at Uppsala University aim to further strengthen the activities through collaborations within academia and with the surrounding society. We will be opening up positions and are now looking for one to three 2-year postdocs to join us.
We study central social issues linked to migration and urban development. Our research has a quantitative emphasis and uses very rich register data and state-of-the-art methods to create new knowledge. Our projects are run in collaboration with leading scholars in Sweden and abroad.
We expect the candidates to conduct independent research within the fields of the Labs. Tasks include initiating and running projects, and collaborating with other members of the Labs.
