The Economics Department at the University of Alicante invites applications for a research position, funded by the Spanish Ministry of Universities. The Department has an international faculty and is committed to world-class academic research excellence. The position is for up to three years. The start date is from 01/01/2022 to 01/09/2022.
We welcome applications from all areas of Economics. The candidates are expected to conduct high-quality research in their field of interest. The position comes with a teaching load of at most 60 hours per year. The annual gross salary is around 37,000 euros plus an additional payment of up to 3500 euros for relocation expenses. At the end of the contract, the Department will explore the possibility of an extension of the contract or of further career progression.

Requirements:
- Postdoctoral experience of at least two years.
- Currently residing and working outside Spain.
