Assistant Professor in Applied Microeconomics

The Department of Economics at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, will recruit one Assistant Professor in Applied Microeconomics. This is a six-year tenure track position with a mid-term review after three years. The expected start date is August 2022.

Applicants should hold, or be close to completing, a Ph.D. in Economics or a related field. Research potential will be the key selection criterion and the successful candidate is expected to carry out research suitable for publication in highly ranked economics journals. We will consider applied researchers working in the fields of Environmental Economics, Labor Economics and Public Economics. The teaching load is minimal; English is the primary teaching language.
