The FSU Economics Department is seeking a tenured or tenure-track faculty member at the Associate or Assistant level to join our Experimental Social Sciences Research Cluster in the Fall of 2022, with rank dependent on budgetary approval. The selected candidate will be a faculty member in the Department of Economics and affiliated with the cluster, which is jointly housed in the Departments of Economics and Political Science and currently consists of about a dozen tenured and tenure-track faculty members.

The candidate must have a strong publication record (at the Associate or advanced Assistant level) or show evidence of the potential to produce internationally recognized research using experimental methods, whether in the laboratory, the field, or through online participant pools. Preference will be given to those whose work may connect naturally with other social sciences, while also complementing the research interests of existing cluster faculty. In addition to research duties, the usual teaching and service duties are expected. Completion of all requirements for the PhD before the date of hire is expected.

The economics department webpage is https://coss.fsu.edu/economics. For more information on this position, please contact John Hamman at jhamman@fsu.edu.

Full consideration will be given to applications received by November 22, 2021.
