The Department of Economics, School of Social Sciences and Philosophy, is seeking to appoint one Assistant Professor in Economics (Applied Microeconomics), to commence on 1st August 2022.
The Department invites applications in the field of applied microeconomics.
Successful applicants will contribute to research and teaching in the Department of Economics. The existing research strengths of the Department include development economics, international macroeconomics, and applied economics more generally (in particular, economic history, energy economics, political economy and urban economics).
The Department is seeking applicants with vision and enthusiasm, a genuine commitment to the vital roles of research and teaching, with an established record of research and clear potential for future research accomplishment, and flair for innovation in module design and teaching methods.
