The School of Economics is seeking to appoint five early career researchers. These are three year positions and we are looking for people with expertise in any area of economics that connects well with the research interests of our current faculty.
The School has an excellent research reputation and offers high quality undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in economics. The School is home to an ESRC funded Large Grant on the Credit and Labour Market Foundations of the Macroeconomy.
Successful candidates will have a strong commitment to producing internationally excellent research and delivering high quality teaching that contributes to the development of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and the learning experience of our students. Applicants should have, or be close to completing, a PhD in economics or related field, and have demonstrable potential to publish their research in leading refereed journals, to contribute to knowledge exchange activities and to secure research income.
