The Department of Economics at the University of Konstanz invites applications for a position as Junior Professor in Applied Microeconomic Theory (Fulltime, W1). The position is to be filled as of October 1, 2023 and limited to a maximum of six years.

We seek candidates whose research and teaching focuses on Information economics, Decision theory, Behavioral economics, Industrial organization, Regulation, and/or Organizational economics. The person to be appointed should actively contribute to the further development of research in one of these areas as well as to the teaching in the Bachelor and Master programs of the Department of Economics. Candidates are expected to connect to the research activities of the department in the research area Microeconomics and Decision-making, in particular through the application of quantitative research methods with a focus on microeconomic theory. Requirements are a Ph.D. in economics or a related field and a publishing record or evidence of the potential to publish in leading journals. German language skills are not required.
