At the Faculty of Economics and Business (Prof. Nicola Fuchs-Schündeln, Prof. Leo Kaas and Prof. Alexander Ludwig) we are seeking to fill three positions of a
Postdoctoral Researcher
from September 1st, 2023, or earlier. The employment contract has an initial duration of three years, with the option of extension. The salary grade is based on the job characteristics of the collective agreement applicable to Goethe-University (E13 TV-G-U).
The tasks include working on research projects of the DFG research group “Macroeconomic Implications of Intra-Household Decision Making” and on the EU Horizon project “Sustainable Welfare: Rethinking the Roles of Family, Market and the State”.
Requirements are successfully completed scientific university studies (diploma or master degree) and a successfully completed doctorate in economics, as well as proven interest in the field of quantitative macroeconomics, preferably with reference to labor markets, housing markets and/or family economics. Furthermore, a strong research potential, international experience, and expertise in the numerical implementation of quantitative macroeconomic models and microeconometric data analysis are required.
You are expected to do your own research in the field of quantitative macroeconomics, to present your own research results at international conferences and to actively participate in the activities of the Frankfurt Quantitative Macroeconomics Group (https://fqmg.de/).
